The short version
I collect only what I need to book, coach and invoice you. I don’t sell it, I don’t share it for advertising, and I don’t put you on a mailing list unless you ask.
Who I am
Waymark is the coaching practice of Elin Hart, based in Brooklyn, New York. In this policy, “I” and “Waymark” mean Elin Hart and the practice. You can reach me at hello@waymark.coach.
What I collect
What you send me: your name, email, role, company and what’s changing for you, when you fill in the contact form.
What we discuss: the session notes I keep so I can remember what you said three sessions ago. They stay with me.
Billing details: your name, company and invoice address. Card payments go through my payment provider, and I never see your full card number.
Basic site data: pages visited and device type, through privacy-friendly analytics that don’t use cookies.
Why I use it
To reply to you, to book and run sessions, to send invoices, and to keep the records the law requires. That’s all.
When your company is paying
If a sponsor pays for your coaching, we agree in writing before we begin exactly what they hear: the goals we set, and at the midpoint and end whether you’re on track. They never hear what we talked about. Stakeholder interviews are shared with you first, and with no one else unless you decide.
Who else sees it
Only the few services I use to run the practice: email, video calls, scheduling, invoicing and website hosting. Each one handles your information only to provide its service. I don’t sell your information and I don’t share it for advertising.
How long I keep it
Session notes for two years after we finish working together, then I delete them. Invoices for seven years, because tax law asks me to. Contact form messages for one year if we don’t end up working together.
Your choices
You can ask to see what I hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, and you can object to how I use it. Email hello@waymark.coach and I’ll reply within two working days. If you’re in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority. If you’re in California, you have the rights set out in the CCPA.
Cookies
This site doesn’t set advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, I’ll say so here and ask first.
Changes
If I change this policy in a way that matters, I’ll update the date at the top and tell current clients by email.
